Vivo Y55s With 3 GB RAM And 13 MP Camera Goes Official!

To follow-up the success of Y55, Vivo just launched the Y55s upgrade in India. This time, the main focus of the device will be the budget conscious market who needs a good performing camera phone.

The design is roughly unchanged, but what's inside is different. The handset still goes with the same 5.2 inch HD IPS screen w/ 2.5D curved glass, 16 GB of expandable storage, and 5 MP front camera w/ screen flash.

However, it is uncharacteristic that Vivo opted for the lower powered Snapdragon 425 chipset instead of using the high-performing Snapdragon 430 budget SoC found with the older Y55.

Fortunately, the rest of the specs were upgrades! The handset now has a bigger 3 GB of RAM and 13 MP AF main camera. This phone also highlights an Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS w/ FunTouch OS 3.0 that has a split screen mode for multitasking!

In India, the Vivo Y55s has a suggested retail price of Rs. 12,490 or around PHP 9.4K out of direct conversion.
