At the MWC 2017 In Barcelona, Spain, Sony surprised everyone by showing off their latest flagship smartphone, the Xperia XZ Premium. It's arguably the most powerful Android smartphone in the world today equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and an all new camera.

The Sony Xperia XZ Premium features a "glass loop surface" mirrored effect design an IP68 water and dust resistance. There's a 5.5 inch 4K HDR TRILUMINOS Display for mobile w/ X-Reality for mobile picture engine w/ Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The beastly Snapdragon 835 quad core processor is paired with Adreno 540 graphics, 64 GB UFS internal storage w/ micro SD card slot, and 3,230 mAh battery Smart STAMINA and Qnovo Adaptive Charging technology via USB Type C port.


The camera is where the most of the magic is found. The device is equipped with a 19 MP 1/ 2.3 inch Exmor RS memory stacked image sensor, super slow motion 960 fps video capture, and 4K video recording support.


In front, a 13 MP 1
/3.06 inch Exmor RS image sensor w/ f/2.0, 22mm wide angle lens, amd ISO 6400 capability will be responsible for your selfies.

Completing the specs includes a fingerprint scanner on the power button, and X16 LTE modem for super fast connectivity. The handset ships with Android 7.1 Nougat OS w/ Smart Stamina Mode, Xperia Tips, and Xperia actions designed to make your life a little easier.

The Xperia XZ Premium in luminous chrome and deepsea black will be available globally, starting late spring 2017.

Price is rumored at USD 900 or around PHP 45K!
