OPPO 5x Mobile Photography Technology Is Coming!

Over the years, the bread and butter of OPPO smartphones lies in its camera prowess. To continue on improving that aspect, the rising tech giant will introduce a breakthrough technology for smartphone cameras / photography at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC 2017) in Barcelona Spain.

The 5x project

It'll be called as the 5x project, a technology that'll allow OPPO handsets to capture images with "unprecedented" clarity.

"OPPO's relentless pursuit of perfection without compromise has given birth to a remarkable technological breakthrough that will change how the world perceives smartphone photography," said OPPO Vice President and Managing Director of International Mobile Business Sky Li.  

"We chose MWC to unveil the '5x' technology in the belief that we can inspire the industry to aim higher, and continue to create pioneering products that give amazing experiences for consumers," Sky added.

For now, we still don't know what type of camera tech will OPPO implement. But, we are sure that i'll be better that the company's usual Beautify software and current camera phones? The "Go 5x Further" slogan could also mean the company will implement 5x zoom on their devices.

We won't also be surprised if the brand will come up with a dual camera setup like their rivals from LG, Asus, Apple, and Huawei. 

Let's all stay tune for their announcement this February 27 to March 2 in Spain.
