Build Quality / Design

The metal framed body gives the phone higher-end look and feel
There's a 3.5 mm jack on top
Single speaker, micro USB port, and microphone located below
13 MP camera, LED flash, and camera / wake up button at the back panel
Overall, the build generally has a superb design and build for its price. It's also ergonomically great which feels great to hold.
The only drop-off from the great exterior design is that the camera button can easily be mistaken for a fingerprint scanner. Fortunately, it proves to be a useful addition once you're used with it.
Specs and features analysis
1. The Kata C1 features a 5.5 Inch HD IPS 1280 x 720 resolution at 267 ppi, an 1.3 GHz MT6580 quad core chip, Mali 400 GPU, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB expandable ROM and 2,600 mAh of battery capacity. This is the usual components the build up handsets configured to meet basic to moderate requirements, but not the highest configuration in this price point.
2. In the camera department, the 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and the 5 MP selfie cam w/ flash too does provide ample functionalities to meet basic photography needs.
3. This phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow under the Kata build in OS.
4. For those who are looking for a handset that is primarily for watching videos or looking at HD images on a budget, this phone would be a decent choice for you.

As of the moment
From an initial assessment, the Kata C2 does not fall far from it's predecessor, the Kata C1, but is has several upgrades. It has bigger screen, runs on a newer OS and is equipped metallic exterior does give more style points in our perspective.
However, it doesn't have the highest specs for the price. So, will its style, build, and features be enough to justify its value for money?
