Right after the announcement of the high-end M2017 few days back, Gionee has a new device that appeared on TENAA. Dubbed as the Gionee F106, the handset sports midrange specifications.

In particular, the Gionee F106 sports a 4.99 inch HD screen (1280 x 720 resolution), unspecified 1.5 GHz quad core processor, ample 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage (hopefully expandable), and 2,660 mAh of battery capacity.

Other details of the phone revealed that it'll have an 8 MP main camera behind and it'll pack an 5 MP selfie camera. It runs with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The device measures are 144 x 70.8 x 8.4 mm and weighs at 150.2 grams.

It'll be available in gold and silver color options. There's really nothing special going on with this handset, so let's hope that Gionee will price it right to gain appeal to the masses.
