After several months of rumors, Xiaomi has finally announced three versions of the Redmi 4 –  the Redmi 4 standard, Redmi 4A, and Redmi 4 Prime.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 standard edition has an all metal body, 5 inch HD IPS screen w/ 2.5D curved glass, 1.4 GHz 64 Bit Snapdragon 430 chip, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB expandable storage, and 4,100 mAh of battery. 

It also has a 13 MP main camera w/ PDAF and dual LED flash, 5 MP selfie camera, fingerprint scanner, LTE connectivity. Bluetooth 4.1, hybrid dual SIM slots, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS w/ MIUI 8.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4A is a more affordable model with an all metal body that slightly looks different from the other two phones. It still equipped with a 5 inch HD IPS screen, runs on a lower end 1.4 GHz 64 bit Snapdragon 425 SoC, Adreno 308 GPU, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB expandable storage, and smaller 3,120 mAh of battery.

Then there's a 13 MP main camera w/ AF and single LED flash behind, 5 MP selfie cam in front, LTE connectivity, and loads with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS w/ MIUI 8 out of the box.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime is the most powerful in the bunch with new tricks. It has a sharper 5 inch FHD IPS screen, beefier 2.0 GHz 64 bit Snapdragon 625 octa core chip, Adreno 506 GPU, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB storage, and 4,100 mAh of battery.

Like the regular Redmi 4, this device also has a 13 MP main camera w/ PDAF and dual LED flash, 5 MP selfie camera, fingerprint scanner, LTE connectivity. Bluetooth 4.1, hybrid dual SIM slots, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS w/ MIUI 8. What's different here is it has a higher end Full Netcom 3.0 connectivity compared with the lower-end Redmi 4 phones.
