Last Sinulog 2017 in Cebu, Oppo Philippines teased the Oppo R9s smartphone. It's a midrange type of handset equipped with powerful front and back cameras.

To refresh our minds, the Oppo R9s boast a 5.5 inch FHD screen w/ Gorilla Glass 5 protected 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood, the device is packed with the same battery efficient Snapdragon 625 processor found with the popular ZenFone 3 as well. Oppo also included 4 GB of RAM, 64 Gb of expandable storage, and 3,010 mAh of battery w/ VOOC quick charge support.

Moving to the cameras, the Oppo R9s has a 16 MP f/1.7 Sony IMX398 w/ dual AF, OIS, EIS and LED flash that should perform well even in lowlight and taking videos. In front, Oppo's famed 16 MP f/2.0 lens is present. Then it has LTE, fingerprint scanner in front, and dual SIM card slots.
