As the follow-up to the widely successful Flex, the Fitbit Flex 2 now boast several improvements in design (30% slimmer), function (more features), and customization (changeable design). Designed to make fitness fun, the Flex 2 is an ultra slim fitness gear with comfortable wristband design and removable tracker that can be attached to bands bangles and even pendants.

It highlights a swim-proof design with IP68 rating up to 50 meters deep underwater, up to 5 days of battery life on a single charge, and improved LED notification with different colors to help distinguish the task it'll do.

The Fitbit Flex 2 is equipped with an All-Day Activity Tracking feature that automatically tracks daily activities such as steps, distance, calories burned, active minutes, hourly activity and stationary time. Then it goes with the SmartTrack which automatically tracks activities like running, sports, and even aerobics workouts that's also visible in the Fitbit app.

Fitbit's Flex 2 also highlights its Auto Sleep Tracking which automatically detects how long and well you sleep. It'll also enable you to set a sleep goal, bedtime reminder, and form good waking up habits with silent alarm.

Inside its powerful app, aside from the regular exercise summary, it can let you track your swimming laps automatically as well. Then it vibrates for notifications on its color coded LED lights and even reminds you to take 250 steps every hour to stay active.

Pricing and availability

The Fitbit Flex 2 will be available starting this October of 2016 in black, lavender, magenta, and navy with an SRP of PHP 5,499 only. There is also an optional accessory band hues in Pink (blush pink, lavender, and magenta) and Sport (gray, navy, yellow) priced at PHP 1,399 soon.

The Bangle accessory in gold, rose gold will retail at PHP 4,699 while the silver stainless steel is priced at PHP 4,299. Then for the Pendant accessory, the gold variant is priced at PHP 4,699 and the silver edition will retail at PHP 3,799.
